If you are looking to add more fresh fruits and veggies into your diet, and/or if you are in need of a little extra help feeding yourself and your family, the VeggieVanGo program offered by the Vermont Foodbank is a great option! No registration is required, and there are no age or income requirements to participate in VeggieVanGo.
Springfield Hospital is pleased to be partnering with the Vermont Foodbank to support the VeggieVanGo event in the Springfield community each month.This event is free and open to anyone who does not have consistent access to fresh produce.
Event Information
Please do not arrive prior to 8:30 a.m.
Location: Riverside Middle School, back lot by the football field
Details: No registration is required. Please follow all signage and directions from the traffic coordinators. Events are drive-thru, so remain inside your vehicle at all times – volunteers will load food into your vehicle. Please do not arrive before 8:30 a.m.

Distribution: 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m.

VeggieVanGo is held year-round in all-weather except for extreme cold or weather advisories. Whenever possible, the Vermont Foodbank will determine emergency cancellations 24-hours in advance. If an event is cancelled, the Vermont Foodbank will do their best to reschedule, but that is not always possible because of warehouse scheduling.
If you are questioning whether or not a VeggieVanGo event will be taking place, please reach out prior to driving over.
