for Urologic Conditions

Springfield Urology provides analysis and treatment for urinary incontinence including stress and urge incontinence, overactive bladder, obstructive voiding problems, and bladder and other pelvic disorders.

Services include diagnostic testing to determine the cause of voiding dysfunction and cystoscopy the use of a fiber-optic telescope to see inside the bladder and urethra. Minimally invasive therapeutic procedures may be used for diagnosis and treatment of incontinence, as well as sacral nerve stimulation for refractory urge incontinence.

Evaluation and minimally-invasive treatment for prostate and voiding problems in men are locally available. Green Light PVP Laser.  This is a form of treatment offered for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). This procedure frees the urethra of prostate tissue that has grown and caused narrowing and may have caused symptoms of urinary frequency or slow urine stream for men.
