Springfield, VT (April 17, 2025) – Springfield Hospital, in collaboration with the Apple Blossom Committee and this year’s talented participants, is excited to announce preparations are well underway for the 67th Annual Apple Blossom. This cherished tradition, which began in 1957, is a major fundraising event supporting Springfield Hospital and features an evening of music and dance.
This year, six senior contestants and their partners—joined by a team of younger children—are rehearsing weekly to deliver an unforgettable performance. The community can expect a special showcase of local youth talent, culminating in the crowning of the 67th Apple Blossom Queen.
This year, the event has a new venue: the Springfield High School Auditorium at 303 South Street, Springfield, VT. An opening performance will be held on Friday, May 2nd, followed by the grand performance on Saturday, May 3rd. Both evening events begin at 7 pm.
All are invited to attend and support this heartfelt celebration. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased in advance at Boccaccio’sand Tina’s Hallmark in Springfield, or online at https://springfieldhospital.org/fundraising-events/
Funds raised from this year’s event will benefit the Dr. E. Sherburne Lovell Health Career Scholarship and the 2025 Annual Giving Campaign for renovation and equipment for Springfield Hospital Emergency Department. ###
