SPRINGFIELD, VT (3-30-26) – Springfield Hospital’s Medical Staff is proud to announce the second annual Healthcare Education Scholarship Program for one outstanding graduating senior planning to pursue ongoing education. This scholarship, valued at $3,000, aims to support students as they continue their healthcare education. All application materials must be submitted by May 15, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements: The scholarship is open to all area high school seniors who have been accepted into a post-secondary program. Applicants must submit the following:
· One letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or mentor.
· A 300–500-word essay outlining why they chose to pursue a career in healthcare and how the scholarship will help them achieve their goals.
· A copy of their high school transcript.
· Proof of acceptance into a post-secondary education program.
