Springfield Hospital Announces New Director of Springfield Area Adult Day Service

Springfield, VT (7/3/25)   –   Springfield Hospital is pleased to announce the promotion of Shelly Holley to the role of Director of Springfield Area Adult Day Services effective June 22, 2025.

Shelly brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to this position. Her healthcare journey began in 2014 as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in the Emergency Department at Springfield Hospital, where she discovered a deep love for caring for people. She later expanded her experience into home care services and assisted living.

In 2018, Shelly joined Springfield Area Adult Day Services, where she quickly developed a strong connection to the Adult Day clients, team, and program. Her dedication led to progressive leadership roles—first as Administrative Assistant in 2021, and later as Practice Operations Supervisor.  In these positions, Shelly integrated her previous business management skills with her healthcare expertise, overseeing key operational functions such as transportation coordination, admissions processing, billing, and compliance with Vermont’s Adult Day Certification standards.

Currently a proud resident of Springfield, VT, Shelly grew up on Mascoma Lake in Enfield, NH. Before entering healthcare, she pursued her passion for quilting, and managed a quilt shop for over four years before launching her own quilting business.
